What it is

A live biological control with three microorganisms: Trichoderma, a fungus antagonistic to soil pathogens that controls Fusarium; Bacillus subtilis, a bacterium antagonistic to fungi; and Bacillus thuringiensis, a bacterium that produces the Cry protein, a biocontrol of caterpillars.

Why it works

Competes with pathogens

Occupies the space and the food of the soil fungi that rot roots and cause seedling losses.

Metabolites and enzymes

Produces metabolites and enzymes antagonistic to soil fungi, on the seed and on the seedling.

Acts on the caterpillar

Bacillus thuringiensis acts directly on the caterpillar. Its action on insects is specific to caterpillars, not broad-spectrum.

Breaks down and solubilises

Breaks down biomass, solubilises minerals and produces vitamins and enzymes that the plant uses.
